Kindred appointed clinic manager for Aegis Medical Systems

BAKERSFIELD, California (January 28, 2011) - Larry Kindred, certified by Breining Institute as a Medication-Assisted Treatment Counselor (MATC), has been appointed clinic manager at the Aegis Medical Systems Delano facility.

Mr. Kindred has worked with Aegis for seven years in its Bakersfield clinic as a senior counselor and mentor. In his new position, he is responsible for the clinic’s day-to-day operations, including managing its doctors, nurses, counselors, caseload managers, medical assistants and office staff. Mr. Kindred attended Bakersfield College, Fresno State and Breining Institute, and is certified as a Registered Addiction Specialist (RAS) and Certified Co-occurring Disorders Specialist (CCDS).

Aegis operates a network of narcotic treatment programs, it has 25 clinics in 15 California counties, and it serves more than 5,000 patients daily.
